Valve Announces Arsenal Mode For Counter Strike:GO

Valve has just announced that Counter Strike: Global Offensive will be getting a new mode when the game launches next year. “Arsenal Mode” is based on the popular Counter-Strike: Source mod called Gun Game.   Arsenal: Arms Race & Arsenal: Demolition will “add eight new maps and expand on the classic Counter Strike gameplay.” Valve which just recently unveiled Counter Strike: Global Offensive to the world at PAX Prime, has been pretty open about their intentions to bring all Counter Strike gamers under one umbrella with the franchise face-lift. Destiny 2 Update 2.18 Patch Notes Preview

Bungie will be releasing a brand new update to Destiny 2 later this week, and the developer has shown a preview for what’s to come in the patch. On PS4 the patch will be version number 2.18, although it’s officially known as update 3.2.0. It will bring a new season to Destiny 2 called “Season of the Splicer”. Guardian Heroes And Operation Flashpoint: Red River Join Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

We’ve gotten another pair of games added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility catalog this week, though this time the selection of games aren’t as big as what we got yesterday. This time we’re getting Guardian Heroes and Operation Flashpoint: Red River, which are now both available to play on Xbox One. The news was once again revealed by Xbox’s Major Nelson on Twitter, with Guardian Heroes being a port of the Sega Genesis beat-’em-up and Operation Flashpoint: Red River being a first-person shooter.
