NPD has now reported on the video game sales in North America for the month of August. The PS4 came out on top again while Madden 16 was the best selling video game.

Remakes have become synonymous with this generation of consoles. For multiple reasons, we’ve seen a glut of remakes, though few have gone as far back as Shadow of the Beast. This PS4 game takes its inspiration from the 1989 classic, which was released originally for the Commodore Amiga, eventually making its way to the Sega Genesis. A major shakeup happened overnight at Bungie, the makers of popular first-person shooter Destiny. The company’s longtime president, Harold Ryan, has stepped down and will be exiting the company entirely. In response Pete Parsons has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Bungie.
Pete Parsons is a Bungie veteran from the Halo days. He worked on every Bungie developed Halo game in some capacity, moving from Studio Management to Executive Producer, to Director of Marketing, and finally to Chief Operating Officer during Halo: Reach and Destiny. Read More...
