Before Rock Band, even before Guitar Hero, Harmonix was plugging away at something a bit different than those earth shattering series. Between 2001 and 2003 they released a couple of music rhythm games by the names of Frequency and Amplitude. Unlike their successors, these games didn’t try to emulate the music playing experience, instead giving players a very scifi videogame sort of feeling, with music layered on top. Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Joins Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS Roster

In a stunning reveal Nintendo has announced that Cloud from Final Fantasy VII will be appearing as a DLC character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. The character has become a fan favorite since appearing on the original PlayStation title, which was the first Final Fantasy game to launch exclusively on a non-Nintendo platform. The divide that that launch created between Square Enix and Nintendo was believed by many to be one of the major causes of the PlayStation’s success and the N64’s relative failure. Read More...

Cyberpunk 2077 Next-Gen: How to Upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Version

Cyberpunk 2077 has been out for a year, and its release was hindered by many issues, mostly stemming from older PlayStation 4 and Xbox One hardware not handling the game.  For the lucky players who had a suitable gaming PC, a PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X, the game ran with considerably fewer issues.  However, even for next-gen consoles running the game, Cyberpunk didn’t have quite enough features on PS5 or XBSX to truly feel more like just a more stable base edition.
