Brand New Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Gameplay

This month’s IGN First revealed that Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be featured, and they have released a brand new video of a mission walkthrough. Within the 4 minute video, we see protagonist Jacob Frye on on a mission to assassinate a man named Rupert Ferris. Highlighted are the new stealth mechanics and different ways for the player to approach the objective, including the new melee-based combat system. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate takes place in 1868 near the end of the Industrial Revolution, starring Jacob and Evie Frye as some of the last assassins of the Brotherhood. Read More...

PlayStation Plus Free Games for February 2016 Include Helldivers and Persona 4

Sony has revealed the free games that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be receiving for the month of February 2016. The list includes a few big name titles, though nothing on the level of past AAA releases. However, some of the games included are highly requested, and very well-received by fans and critics alike. The games available for free to PS Plus members in February 2016 are: Grid Autosport for PS3, Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, Lemmings Touch for PS Vita, Nom Nom Galaxy for PS4, Nova-111 for PS Vita, and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax for PS3. Telltale announces ‘Tales from the Borderlands’

In what has come as a surprise to almost everybody, Telltale have announced at Spike’s VGX 2013: ‘Tales from the Borderlands,’ another adventure series from the acclaimed developers of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us set in Gearbox’s Borderlands universe. The trailer shown is light on details but some of the characters fans of the series have come to enjoy (Handsome Jack!) can be expected to return, and with the strong reception that Borderlands 2’s cheeky writing received it seems like Tales of the Borderlands could be an interesting spin-off to the main series.
