My Nintendo launched earlier this year as a replacement for the now defunct Club Nintendo and offers monthly rewards that you can choose by using certain types of coins. Between the gold and platinum coins, there are different rewards you can redeem and one of the exclusive rewards was set to expire, but is no longer. Nintendo Shuts Down Pokemon Prism, Pirates Leak It Anyway

Pokemon Prism, a fan-made hack of the ROM for Pokemon Crystal,  joined similar fan efforts last week when Nintendo’s lawyers hit the project with a cease-and-desist letter mere days before the game’s official release. Unfortunately for Nintendo, pirates had something else in mind. The game has been released to the Internet anyway, and although we won’t link to where you can download the game, it’s not hard to find. Yume Nikki Dream Diary Announced

A couple of weeks ago, the 2004 indie game Yume Nikki made a sudden re-appearance, unexpectedly showing up on Steam. The game’s new Steam page contained a link that led to a site with a countdown timer. The countdown ended today (January 25) and an announcement has been made about a follow-up to the cult classic indie game. At the end of the countdown, it was revealed that developer Kadokawa has been working with Active Gaming Media and original Yume Nikki developer Kikiyama to create Yume Nikki Dream Diary, which will essentially serve as an updated, fully 3D version of the original game.
