Some time ago we reported that Sony and Capcom planned to release in December 2017 a limited edition PS4 Pro in Japan, featuring a special design based on the fire wyvern Rathalos from Monster Hunter: World. While at first it seemed like that version of the console was going to remain exclusive to japanese fans, it seems like the companies are growing confident on the success of the game in Western territories, as both the European and North American PlayStation blogs have announced today that the Limited Edition PS4 Pro will be launched in those territories along with the game on January 26. Dating back to the original Destiny, Sony has had a partnership with the series that included exclusive DLC for PlayStation platforms. This has been a point of contention for fans of the series, but now it sounds like Sony made another move when it came to Destiny 2 that really will leave a lot of people disappointed.
