Xbox One and PS4 games appear to be locked at $60

It looks like Microsoft and Sony will both be offering $60 games into the next generation on the Xbox One and PS4. Confirmed earlier by Microsoft, the company says that they have no plans on raising the price of first party titles. Today, Sony has also confirmed that their next-gen games will remain locked at $60. While Microsoft confirmed the news earlier, Sony’s committment, as confirmed by Shack News, to keeping games at $60 is a good sign for gamers that we won’t be seeing a price hike on the software side of things.
