Nintendo have confirmed to Polygon in a statement that Fire Emblem Fates will feature same-sex marriage for the player-created avatar.
‘We believe that our gameplay experiences should reflect the diversity of the communities in which we operate,’ reads part of the statement. It’s a refreshing change of pace from the frustrations that surrounded Tomodachi Life and its lack of “social commentary”.

Unsurprisingly, there are some big improvements that can be seen in PlayStation 4 version compared to the PlayStation 3 version, with higher-detailed textures, better draw distance, and greater clarity and vibrancy.
