Pokemon GO’s June Community Day Features Larvitar

Following last weekend’s Charmander celebration, Niantic has announced that Larvitar will be the next Pokemon to be featured as part of the monthly Pokemon GO Community Day event series. During the event players will find the ultra rare and very powerful (once evolved) character spawning everywhere, though parks are usually the best place to go. These events have been alternating between the original starters and highly sought after creatures, such as Mareep and Dratini. Read More...

Uncharted 3 Beta Comes Unhinged on Day One

If you sat out on the first day festivities of the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer beta you’re probably better off for it.  The beta got off to a pretty rocky start, where Naughty Dog had to deal with numerous issues that arose as millions tried to hop on for their first look at the upcoming game.  Aside from the technical problems of the beta launch, Naughty Dog also dealt with some technically deficient human beings that couldn’t comprehend that this isn’t the full game, and it’s sole purpose is to avoid these problems when the game launches this November. Region Locking on the Wii U & 3DS explained by Nintendo

Region locking has been hot topic among Nintendo fans in recent memory. While Sony and Microsoft have ditched region locking on the Xbox and PS4, Nintendo is holding steady with their practices. Following E3 2013, fans have organized a number of petitions urging Nintendo to stop the practice. Now whether or not these petitions will have any impact on Nintendo’s decisions with the Wii U has yet to be seen, but Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata has recently spoken on the subject. Read More...
