It’s been a while since Dead or Alive fans have had something to sink their teeth into. With the release of Dead or Alive 5, this marks the end of a seven year drought from Team Ninja. Surprisingly, in all that time, Dead or Alive 5 hasn’t changed that much from its predecessor. Bioware is apparently looking to avoid controversial downloadable content practices with Dragon Age: Inquisition. As they explained in a recent interview, Dragon Age: Inquisition will not be offering downloadable characters or party members post-launch. All nine party members will ship with the game, and will not be added after the fact. There will be no party member DLC to avoid controversy
According to Bioware’s Mike Laidlaw, they made the decision because to offer new characters after the fact, they would have needed to ship some of the DLC on the disc. Read More...
