Amazon Game Studio’s released a trailer for their upcoming competitive free-to-play third-person shooter Crucible today, and announced the game will launch later this month.
Crucible launches on Steam May 20th. Crucible is a hero-shooter that sees players blasting it out across three different game modes on a dangerous alien planet. The general gist of the game remains the same across all three however: pick a hero and choose what upgrades they will receive from leveling up, then enter the match and kill both players and computer-controlled monsters to grow in power. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 players will have all weekend to get their Double XP bonuses by playing online. As is the case with most of these double XP events, this one arrives just ahead of the release of the Black Ops 2 Vengeance Map Pack, slated to arrive on July 2nd. This Black Ops 2 Double XP Event runs from June 28th until July 1st. One day later you’ll be able to scoop up the Vengeance Map pack, which will feature four new multiplayer maps and all new Zombies map and additional weapon. Read More...
