Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is set to launch for the Nintendo Switch later this year, bringing Monolith Soft’s critically-acclaimed series to yet another platform. While there’s still very little information on the game outside of a brief teaser, now we’re getting some updates on the game’s music.
The information comes from Composer Yasunori Mitsuda, who has been recording the game’s soundtrack lately and shared some updates on it through his Twitter account. Earlier in the month, right when the Xbox One X was rolling out to store shelves, Bethesda promised updates for their biggest games. These updates were said to add the usual Xbox One X enhancements, including 4K resolution and better visual qualities. Now some of those updates have become available, with Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition receiving the promised features.

Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 date back to the PlayStation 2 days, but that hasn’t stopped both games from being re-released multiple times. Following the first HD remaster on PS3, the games later came to PS4, PS Vita, and even PC as well. This was pretty standard for most Final Fantasy games of recent, so it was a nice surprise when Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster was announced for additional platforms a few months back and that release has received a brand new trailer.
