SEGA and Microsoft are partnering to “establish a Next-Generation Development Environment” to design and develop “large-scale global games” that will take advantage of Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. During an investor event earlier in May this year, SEGA had first yielded some information about the upcoming plans. The Legend of Zelda series had always been a solo affair, until Capcom and Nintendo took it in a wholly different direction with the Four Swords spinoff series. Starting as an added section to the GBA remake of A Link to the Past, Four Swords was actually a fun little adventure, giving players the ability to team up and make their way through classically styled Zelda dungeons. The Game Awards 2015 has now concluded and the game that took out all of the big awards was none other than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won several awards at The Game Awards 2015. The game won “Game of the Year”, “Developer of the Year”. These two awards were the biggest ones of the night.
