Harmonix has pioneered the music rhythm genre for more than a decade, ranging from the original Guitar Hero to the Rock Band franchise, and more recently, the Dance Central franchise, which takes the controller out of our hands. Vaults have been present in multiple Fortnite seasons before, and they’re back yet again in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. Several challenges this season involve vaults, such as collecting gem fragments outside Seven Vaults or opening vaults with other players. They contain a ton of great loot and powerful new weapons, but getting inside can be tricky. Because Master Chief’s anticipated return is still four months away, and watching others play is better than cradling in the corner until the game’s November 6 release date.
