Defiance has been out for a couple of weeks now, and the MMO third person shooter from Trion is showing a lot of promise in my opinion. With the TV series running alongside we have seen various characters cross over as advertised, although the full extent is not yet known – to me at least. The Silent Hill series kind of fizzled out after the release of Downpour, and while Kojima was set to breathe new life into the series with Silent Hills it got cancelled. However, we’re now learning that there was another game in the series that was in development, and it was set to be a PlayStation 3-exclusive.
The game was going to be called Silent Hill: Broken Covenant and was being developed by Silent Hill Origins and Shattered Memories developer Climax Studios. Read More...
Crytek, a developer well known for their attention to detail and prowess in creating jaw dropping visuals in the Crysis series, has thrown down the gauntlet for next-gen launch titles. In a recent interview, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli says that Crysis 3 will be on par with launch titles for the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4.
