Rockstar posted a massive “Census” infographic today on the Rockstar Newswire, one that boast huge numbers of players who’ve been playing GTA Online between October 1, 2013 and October 31, 2014. And while a massive number of players have been tallied doing all the activities of GTA Online, they also revealed, and reconfirmed Online Heists for release after the Xbox One and PS4 launch of the game.
“We know you’re all excited for more Updates to come and we’ve got some really exciting stuff in the works to continue adding to, expanding and evolving the world of Grand Theft Auto Online – including the highly anticipated launch of Online Heists which will be available for all four consoles as the first GTA Online Update to happen after the game launches on PS4 and Xbox One. We’ll have some details on that very soon as well.”
Yesterday, Rockstar addressed possibility of launch issues for GTA V on the Xbox One and PS4, and in that announcement, spoke of Online Heists also. In a separate post on the Rockstar Newswire, Rockstar revealed that Online Heists would indeed be coming to all four platforms as free updates. Two updates from Rockstar in two days about GTA Online Heists? It’s more than GTA V fans have heard in quite some time.
GTA V is slated for release on November 18th. To check of the GTA Online Census, head here.
