The first major DLC expansion pack for Star Wars Battlefront is expected to be released sometime in “early 2016” describes EA.
The early 2016 release for the DLC was announced by EA on the official Star Wars Battlefront website. There will be four DLC expansion packs in total. They will be released within the timeframe over the course of several months after launch.
The DLC has a variety of different content. There will be four more heroes and villains for you to be and four new game modes for you to try out as well.
Star Wars Battlefront launches with only 12 maps, but the DLC will add a further 16 maps on different locations too. There will be different planets too as the base game only has four planets. The planet of Jakku will be added in for free in early December.
There will also be lots of new weapons, cards and vehicles in the DLC too. No specific information was given at the moment. If you buy the Season Pass, you will get everything described and you get it two weeks earlier than everyone else too.
Early 2016 means the DLC should be coming between the months of January to March. Hopefully some content from The Force Awakens is added.
