The Division 2 officially released for everyone a week ago today, with Ubisoft Massive doing a few different updates through the first week. The latest updates for The Division 2 are coming after the latest server maintenance that is going on right now as of the time of this writing.
Starting at 4:30 am ET and lasting for about three hours, the servers for The Division 2 will be down for maintenance. This was announced prior, with the community developer on the official The Division 2 forums giving us a rundown of the patch notes for this latest update, which are as follows:
- Fixed an issue where players were not being granted Clan XP
- Fixed an issue where daily and weekly resets would not apply to players who were offline during the time of reset
- Fixed an issue where players could lose guiding missions and access to guiding mission NPCs, making them unable to further progress
- Improved survivability of low level players against enemy NPCs when playing co-op with a player of higher level
Ubisoft Massive has done a good job at warning players when servers would be down in advance, though it can still be frustrating for those who were looking to play in areas where it wasn’t the middle of the night. At least these are not sporadic downtimes, but rather planned ones that are providing us with some fixes as well.
